I thought I’d take some time to describe an upcoming feature in nueROM3: Settings backup.
Settings backup lets you rapidly backup and restore settings. All new nueTools control panel applets will now come with a backup/restore settings menu option, as you can see on the screenshot to the left. This option will automatically generate a RGU file that is compatible with buildOS on your storage card. You can use it to restore the settings using the applet, or insert it right into the kitchen to make your own personal ROM.
In addition to the updated control panel 
applets, the nueSettings backup applet lets you rapidly backup and restore settings without going into the applets.
Furthermore, you can create your own custom template files so you can save and restore settings from any application, and even generate a personal settings rgu compatible with buildOS.
Look for it in the next release of nueROM3, which is probably due in a few days with several other features and bugfixes.
