nueLED2

nueLED2 is not… anything like what nueLED was. The idea was to avoid the intermediate DLL that caused issues with devices in nueLED, while creating an interface any application could use. So nueLED2 has no user friendly interface.

But on the bright side, it does allow individualized control of the LEDS on the Touch Pro / Diamond control pad. You could use the included nueLED2_Control app with mortscript or some other script to control individual leds. Also, nueLED2 is open source, so feel free to add to it or use it in your application, just drop a line if you do. I’ve added a .NET wrapper to make it easy to add to your .NET app.

I will note that it’s a rather sparse library right now, but as I figure out more about ALLLEDMGR, I’ll add to it.

does this work for the hardware keyboard timeout issue?

No, I don't think the hardware keyboard is controlled via this mechanism. I guess I should look back into that.

Because I'm unbelievably bored, I worked out how to to this my self, then discovered this...

Anyway, in the course of my research, I found some more settings for the LEDs...

0 all button LEDs
2 Home
4 Call answer
8 Back
16 end call
32 Center
128 Pulse center
512 Center
1024 all off
2048 anticlockwise spiral twice, pause and repeat
4096 all on
8192 all off, backlight off

There may well be others lurking around, but trial and error seems the best way.

I've poked around with your previous version 1.5 to get the new email notification LED to work on my HD2 (apparently NO-ONE's gotten it to work on theirs).  While I can get the LED to fire by switching it to "power charging", I can't get it to turn off once the email's read.

You could have a whole new fan club of HD2 owners if you could help with this!   :^)
