works awesome, but i think it isnt doing everything it should. my sliding sounds no longer work.

yeah the sliding sound quit but its definitely worth it... also maybe, I don't know how hard it would be but during daylight hours, there actually is no real necessity to even have the keyboard light up am I wrong? if its light I could care less if the keyboard backlight was on or off... maybe the only thing is it could make it easier to read.

I was in the shower this morning and I had an idea... this would probably take some serious work but... the hardware is there with the light sensor...

I was just thinking why didn't htc have the freaking keyboard backlight hooked up to the light sensor driver? weird stuff to be thinking about while in the shower I know.

wouldn't that make the most sense?

like somehow program it so that there are two dependencies for the light to come on...

1.) it needs to be dark...
2.) the keyboard needs to be slid out...

then the light comes on.
