nueSIPDefault updated

Now updated to version 1.1… Should fix all the lockup problems people were having. I guess that some SIPs have a problem with being set as the default IM for the shell, especially in WM 6.5, so I decided to just store the setting in my own key.

Apologizes for any problems I might have caused. By the way, a 10s delay should be sufficient for most devices.

Sure, but that kind of functionality is best suited for another app since nueSIPdefault unloads itself after the device has loaded.

I mean for the Diamond. That's when you slide a physical keyboard out and it didn't work when I tested it a while back.

no2chem,

Speaking of stylus detection...

What is your method of detecting stylus status changes (in and out)?
Are you checking the registry? If so, do you know of any other way?

afaik there is probably a event you can wait on, or you can just use the ce event broker api to wait on that registry entry - but you're right, theres annoyingly no way to know if the stylus is in or out at boot without querying the gpio... unless htc exposed some function...

That HTC function was actually what I was hoping you knew about.  I figured if anyone did, you would.  ZuinigeRijder at xda suggested that HTCUtil.dll might have it but I don't currently know how to view the exposed functions of a dll.

So what is this about querying the gpio? sounds fun.

I doubt its inside htcutil, and i haven't seen it in the sensor "sdk" either. Thinking about it a little, I actually think its impossible to know whether the stylus is in or out on boot - the switch only detects if the stylus moves in or moves out, not if there is a stylus in the slot.
