nueSIPStylusPer onesolo’s request, nueSIPStylus is complete – it allows for automatic changing of  SIP based on if stylus is inside device or outside device.

It also supports querying the position of the stylus (CDMA only) at boot, fixing a “bug” in the keyboard driver where the position of the stylus is not updated on restart until you take the stylus in or out.

Everything else should be fairly self explanatory, but if you want deterministic results, I would recommend uninstalling nueSIPDefault or disabling the SIP control in nueKBLight if you have either one of those installed. Several services deciding on which SIP should be in use couldn’t be a good thing…

Does this program set the value of HKCU\ControlPanel\Keybd\StylusOutStatus on boot?  If it did, it could solve my delima temporarily while I figure out the gpio stuff.

Yes, it does set the stylus registry on boot. If you needed to, you could use the nueGPIO dll I have, there should be a named export "GetGPIO" .. with a method signature that looks like:

extern "C" BOOL  GetGPIO(DWORD dwPin, PDWORD dwResult);

remember this method only works with cdma devices though..

by "only works with cdma devices" do you mean it will blow up on a GSM device? or that it will just not do anything on GSM device?  Or not sure?  I only have a CDMA Sprint Touch Pro and a Verizon Touch Diamond to test with.

2 Questions

1. Zuinige Rijder will possibly need this dll for TouchLockPro. I have already told him about it. Can I relay the message that it is ok for him to include it in his app, given the proper to credit to you of course?

2. Same thing for me.  I am working on my own derivative of TouchLockPro with all my personal preferences and may one day decide I'd like to share it as well.  Is that OK?

1,2 - sure, not a problem as long as it is not a commercial product - just be sure to include attribution.

it works fine for gsm devices, just doesn't do the autodetect thing.

I've been testing this for a few hours, and works great. But since I installed I notice the device a bit more slower... I've softreset also...

Someones a fan of the WebOS Look *wink*, Wow WM could look pretty nice with the curved sides. *hint hint* Lol, frankly it sounds quite impossible, unless of course nue you prove me and many wrong, (again).

P.S, nue hows the FM Discoveries going with the Touch Pro? (Let me know if i shouldn't be asking, so i'm sorry in advanced!)
